Birthday freebies

This year i tried to maximize my birthday freebies.
I want you to maximize your bday freebies too! I will list them in no specific order. You should sign up before your birthday to make sure you receive the coupon/email/mailer in time :-)
1. Firehouse subs (no coupon necessary. Just show your license on your birthday)
2. Moes. Free entree. (email printout is requireid. And maybe your i.d)
3. Red Robin. Free burger (beef, turkey or veggie), unlimited fries, and an ice cream dessert. They also sing to you. (you need a red robin card. These are free. You can get one from the restaurant or go online and have them mail one to you. It's free either way. Once you receive the card you must register it. The card is necessary to receive the free entree.)
4. Sephora. Free birthday item of the month. (online membership required. Membership is free).
5. Aveda. (sign up online). Mailer required. They send it to address on your account. There is a long list of things you can choose. Any scent.
6. Victoria's secret. $10 toward any purchase. (Victoria's secret credit.card necessary. No membership fee).
7. Dairy Queen. Bogo blizzard coupon. Email printout needed. (sign up online to join. It's free.)
8. Coldstone. Free icecream (small with one mix in). (sign up online. It's free.) i even got something for my half birthday back in January.
9. Steak n shake. Free hamburger and fries. Email printout necessary. (sign up free online. They send out almost weekly advertisements)
10. The body shop. Free $10. Need body shop membership card. (it costs $10 to join. You join at the store. It gives you discounts throughout the year)
11. BD's mongolian bbq. Free bowl of stir fry. Email printout is necessary. (sign up free online).
12. Baskin Robins. Free scoop of ice cream. Email print out is necessary. (sign up free online).
13. Starbucks. Free drink. Mailer coupon necessary. Sign up online (Starbucks Card needed. Register online. Its free!)
14. World market. Free $10 for a $10 purchase. (sign up to join free online). Email printout is necessary.
15. Mccalisters. $5 toward your meal purchase. (sign up free online. They make you pick a location. Email necessary for the coupon.)
16. Lenny's sub. Free sub. (get a reward card from them to register free. Email printout necessary)
17. Sonic. Free item (random list of things). (Sign up online). Print out coupon to redeem.
18. Panera. Free dessert or pastry. You need their reward card to register. (its free. Pick up a card from a Panera)
19. Qdoba. Bogo coupon. (you need a reward card to register online. The card is free and at qdoba. Its free to sign up.) print out of coupon necessary.
20. Oxmoor mall (Louisville). Free $10 gift card (American express card) (sign up on their website. You need the printed email and your i.d. to redeem.)

Peppermint (foot book) scrub

So my sister in law's (Laura) sister Leslie made chocolate body scrub for Laura's baby shower for Caleb. So i copied her but added a Dr. Seuss twist. I changed it a little bit and added blue food coloring since the shower is for a boy. And then tested it. And i think it worked. I bought 24 baby jam mason jars and filled all but 3. Here's step by step pictures:

Target is wonderful. Most people think this. Its a place that sucks you in and forces you to spend atleast $100 to get out.
Sometimes great things make horrible mistakes. You might wanna sit down as you view this:

Biggest..consumer?

So i pretty much buy whatever Bob and Jillian tell us to on the Biggest Loser...that being said.. Today on my lunch break i went to Target and got the hottest new thing for reusable water bottles. They cost $9.99 for 1 or 2 for $18.99. So find a friend a save!
I can't wait to take these home and wash them! Fresh clean water-on the go-is only a faucet away!

Young's Dairy. A place from our childhood.

We (Lucas, Laura, and I) went up to Ohio for a day and a half while she was here. So of course, we had to stop at our most favorite ice cream place in Yellowsprings. Be prepared to crave delicious ice cream after u look at our pictures :-)
Laura got cow patty and bubble gum. Lucas got a banana milkshake. And i got my all time favorites: mint chocolate chip and bubble gum.











 

Lilacs and springtime

I finally bought a lilac bush :-) we planted it...in a pot. Hopefully it can grow in that?
Thanks Home Depot for your $15.97 plant! (i found a lilac bush priced at $39.99 at some overpriced outside plant store and it looks no different than the one i got)
